- CARL ROGERS

Autism & ADHD Counselling Limerick

AUTISM & ADHD

  • I provide support to individuals adjusting to a new autism and ADHD diagnosis. Additionally, I can help you with any issues you may be having if you're thinking about getting diagnosed with ADHD or autism.

Parents and siblings can come to therapy to discuss the challenges and stressors you may be having. You may also want to deal with other issues and learn to cope better in life. We can build strategies to improve your wellbeing and strengthen understanding, communication and relationships within the family.

I have gained experience since 2020 working with ASD Ireland and in my private practice.

Anxiety Counselling Limerick

ANXIETY

  • Everyone gets anxious; it's a normal reaction that sets off worry or fear when we sense danger. However, because their anxiety reaction is out of step with their circumstances, some people's worry might cause problems in their day-to-day lives. Panic, stress, and social anxiety may result from it. You can overestimate the risk and underestimate your capacity for handling commonplace circumstances. You might worry all the time and feel like you can't handle life anymore. Anxiety is a cognitive reaction that can make you feel unsafe and incapable of handling situations. Anxiety leads to physiological alterations such as elevated blood pressure, tension in the muscles, and dry mouth. This may therefore have an impact on your behaviour, causing you to avoid certain circumstances.

Psychological Counselling Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) aims to target your thought and behaviour patterns, assisting in the identification of potentially disruptive emotional and behavioural patterns.

Client Feedback

– Marilyn Ferguson

Let’s Talk!

We cannot change our past but we can change how we react to it, so it no longer has the power to affect how we live in the present.
